Big WOW Factor, Compact and FUN to use! June 3, 2002 Steev (san jose, ca United States) 40 out of 41 found this review helpful
This camera rocks! It is so small and fits in your pocket or around your neck (has a strap built in). This camera is small, but still easy to hold and take great pictures. It has auto red eye reduction and a built in flash. The flash thinks for you! No need to mess with turning it on or off or wondering if you should use it in certain lighting conditions. At this price point, you get alot of power in such a little device. The camera is APS, so it has two different image sizes you can use. APS film is easy to use too because you can only put it in one right way, believe me, you can't mess this up! A child can do this! ;-) I highly recommend this camera to a beginner, a gift for a young person, or just the casual photographer. I normally use high res. digital cameras, but this one is great to pop in your pocket and go have some fun! It even comes with a full roll of film and a battery! Normally you just get a roll of 15 shots but you get a full roll in this one!
VERY IMPRESSIVE June 19, 2002 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Fisrt off, this is a great camera. I recently took a trip to Hawaii and the pictures this camera took were incredible! They were extremely clear and the red eye reduction was awesome! It is so compact, you can really take this camera everywhere without it being so much of a hassle. I recommend this camera to all my friends and family!
Great for the Price December 10, 2002 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I purchased this camera for my husband who doesn't use a camera much. We ended up using this camera all the time, as I misplaced my 35MM camera. It takes great pictures for the price. Sometimes, I have noticed red eye (it is supposed to have red reduction) and some the pictures indoors are darker in the background than outside, but overall this ...camera has out performed itself in my opinion. I highly recommend it.
Great first camera July 6, 2003 ScrapSuzy (Peachtree City, Georgia USA) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
We bought this camera for my 10 year old daughter at Christmas, and have been nothing but pleased with the quality of the pictures. We chose it for it's size and ease of use for a child with the use of only one hand. I've been known to grab it, though, for quick pics around the house! We have compensated for the additional cost of developign APS film by only getting our pics developed at Sam's or Wal-Mart...
A very neat impressive little camera. September 29, 2002 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
On vacation in Saint Maarten, we passed a camers store on the main street in Phillipsburgh, we spotted Q1 in the window of the store, my wife had not idea what it was, neither did I, we went in took a look, we were fascinated by it, I have had Fuji cameras in the past, knew they were very good on prices an gave you a camera that was reliable and took great shots, we bought the Q1, put the digital away for the rest of trip and took wonderful shots with the it, very impressed, APS to me has never been know for giving decent shots, but, the Q1 does, delighted with it, can only recommed it highly, even if it only has an F8 lens, its a barrel of fun, am using it since the vacation, we really love this purple camera, buy it, you wont regret it, even if it looks more like a radio.
